Specify an Activity Resource Capacity

1. In the Setup Schedule > Production tab, click the Resource capacities tab.
2. In the Resource capacities data grid, select the Capacity column for the row that specifies the resource for which you want to define the activity capacity.
3. Type the value for the resource.

Note: The units for the capacity are defined by the units chosen for the quantity of work for the activity in the Locations tab.

4. If the resource works on only a single activity, leave the Activities column at the default value (*). If the resource works on more than one activity, in the Activities column, select the activities for which the resource has the specified capacity.
5. In the Date/event column, select the date or event at which you want the capacity to be applied to the resource for the activities.
6. In the Delay column, type the number of days you want to pass after the event selected in the Date/event has occurred, before you want the capacity to be applied to the resource for the activities.
7. If you want to define changes to the resource capacity for the activities at different dates or events, copy the row and change the Capacity, the Date/event, and, optionally, Delay.
